Once we were geared up we were ready hit the slopes.....literally. Due to my highly uncoordinated 'skillz' at skiiing I determined it was best not to bring the camera along for action shots. So enjoy our before and after shots.
You can really tell the difference between people who ski a lot, and people who go once a season. We'll let you guess what category we fit into after we describe our getup: underwear, long johns, pajama pants, and track pants (non-padded, and straight from high school...). On top: 2 long sleeve shirts, sweatshirt, and over-sized coat. Not to mention the rented ski goggles, poles, and skis. We look nothing like the Ritchie boys...
It started snowing HARD about halfway through the day. We could hardly see while driving down the mountain. Apparently other people had trouble seeing us, too. Today we found that we'd been hit on our front bumper, and it's either from church (See "The Sure Way to Hell") or the slopes.

Hey, Brady and Karen, call me if you need any ski pointers, I'm all over it! NOT! My boys keep laughing when they here about my ski lessons and how many times I've fallen down!
Trav is so jealous that ya'll got to skii. He really misses it. I keep telling him he can to the "resort" in Indiana with all the home made snow he can handle!! We have actually gotten some snow here. About 3 inches that stayed for a day or two. Jacob thought that it was great fun and Trent got to finally use those snow boots
Sweet!
Nice pics. You need to come up and do some skiing with us, though.
We're going again next week, $16 for a lift ticket at our favorite area every Tuesday.
I'm hoping to be home in May, by the way. I don't know how often you get back to Ohio...
HEy Snow Bunnies! Looks like good cold fun! We miss you!
