The next morning we took a stroll down to the water in search for interesting sea creatures--namely turtles. As shown in the picture below, the weather would be beautiful. However, if I shot the picture from the other direction you would see the wall of rain water that raced towards us to thwart our adventure plans.
Mom and Dad preparing for a lovely meal at Duke's restaraunt--and yes, we delighted in the hula pie after meal dessert.
On Saturday, we cruised to Hanalei. The weather was perfect.
Mom and Dad deciding which ocean sport activity to participate.
After a light lunch, Dad decided on wave hopping. Look at that form!
Mom and I on a casual walk around the beach.
Mom and Dad were excited to see the very pier seen in the old flick "South Pacific". Everytime this was mentioned it was accompanied by someone singing one of the classic's from the film such as "I gotta wash that man right out of my hair". Seriously, does anyone else have trouble figuring out what that means.

How fun! Mom and Dad look like they are having a great time. Make sure they don't get too comfortable there, we want to make sure they come home. Tell Zac that those girls are nothing but trouble.
You and Karen are starting to sound the same on your blog. I couldn't figure it out for a couple of pictures and usually I can tell right away. Keep up the daily reporting. we love it.
Okay, Kristen, do I use words like "thwart?" That kind of vocabulary is much too advanced for my blogging. ;)
I 2nd Kristen. Now it's only going to be a matter of time until you start dressing alike. YIKES!
