Sooo...we always said we wouldn't just post pictures of our child, but we just want to hear how handsome he looks. Plus, this is what we do right now. In a few weeks, we will brave the tropical weather and go on some real outings with this kiddo, but for now, it's all eat, sleep, poop, cry, and long walks.
When Zach is awake lately, he opens his eyes so wide. We commented on that last post, but it still cracks us up!
Yesterday was a really exciting day. We had a baby shower, and this was one of the gifts we received. He loves the little mobile above his head.
We finally captured it: the pre-cry face. Isn't it pathetic?
Zachary loves to put his hands in his face when he sleeps. Sometimes, only a finger makes it. Often, he is giving us the bird, but the other day it was just a pointer finger.
Sometimes he likes his bath, and sometimes he doesn't. Same with the binkey.
All summer, we hit Brennecke's Beach after work for boogie boarding. Good times. Over the winter, though, the beach filled up with rocks, making any sort of water activity treacherous--even for the locals. That factor combined with the murky-water, double shark spotting at this location only a few weeks ago left us without our favorite boogie board hangout on the island. We were excited to head back after Brady checked conditions earlier in the week. We found it almost back to normal.
We took turns splashing around, while one of us stayed back with Zachary. Zach's UV protected beach outfit really does it's job (or it could be the triple sun coverage you see below). That's right, Brady didn't get a degree in construction for nothing.
It's good to be back.
