We woke up to the promised rain showers but it did not slow us down a bit.
He was old hat at the Disney selfie at this point and no longer complaining. In fact, he said he wanted the evidence of how rain didn't stop him.He sat in a puddle for ride #1 of the day.
Then it was back to outer space.
"Mom, I can't leave Disney without another churro."
We both only sort of understand Star Wars.
The lady in front of us had this pin and was thrilled we wanted to take a photo.
Star Tours! This one gets me more ill than any other ride at Disneyland.
...even Tea Cups. I told Owen I would ride it exactly one time and I absolutely would NOT help him spin. Then I helped him spin because he was struggling and laughing so hard about making me sick. Then I got kind of sick. Shrug.
Rocky Mountain Railroad x 3:
He was disappointed when we ran out of things to do "that were exciting"--aka Space Mountain and Bobsleds were both closed. We wandered around, did a few more classics again, and closed out the night with the Rockies before heading back to Mimi's for dinner.
He could not find the souvenir of his dreams, so we stopped by Target or Walmart. He picked up this mug and said, "This is the only sourvenier I want and it is for you." Come on, kiddo! Sweetest gesture! He did end up getting more Cars to go with his racing collection. We checked in close to midnight and we were both worked. He said, "We forgot to play games together!" That was one specific idea we listed on our trip out, and I couldn't leave that wish unfulfilled. He beat me in Cover Your Assets, giggling up a storm every time he bested me.
